Praxis Pathways Northwest

Praxis Pathways Northwest Grief is a shared experience that all people will experience. I empower people to process their grief utilizing a holistic approach.

Driving transformational growth for leaders and organizations through relationship-centered consulting, dynamic leadership development, and strategic wellness solutions that create lasting impact. Sadly, most individuals have not learned skills to heal from this grief - and this is where I come in. This means recognizing skills they already have by reflecting on previous life experiences and understanding basic grief theory.

⚙️ Reflection on Day 4 – Praxis Pathways Retreat

Yesterday’s focus at our Praxis Pathways retreat was Operations & Systems — the less glamorous but absolutely vital backbone of a first-year business.

We asked ourselves:
1.) What systems do we really need in year one? (Invoicing, scheduling, client records).
2.) What can wait until year two?
3.) How do we balance simple marketing tools like an email list and consistent social presence?
4.) Most importantly, how do we manage our time as a two-person startup without burning out?

By the end of the day, we built our Praxis Operations Checklist — a tangible guide that will keep us grounded, organized, and accountable as we grow.

What stood out most: strong systems don’t replace care, but they make it possible for us to deliver that care sustainably. Every email template, record system, or calendar block is one more way to ensure we show up fully for the individuals, families, and organizations we serve.

Our commitment is simple: if the systems are clear, the work can stay human.

✨ Day 3 of our Annual Meeting. Focus: Client Acquisition ✨

Today at the Praxis Pathways Northwest retreat, we focused on one of the biggest challenges every leader and business owner faces: finding and connecting with the right clients.

In the morning, we dug deep into client personas—identifying who we really want to serve and how to attract them in authentic, meaningful ways. In the afternoon, we got practical with strategies that work: networking, storytelling, referral systems, and pricing models.

Each participant walked away with a personalized 3-step client acquisition plan they can put into action right away.

Because at Praxis, our belief is simple: Talk today. Tools today.

We’re not just learning concepts—we’re walking out with clarity and action. 💡

✨ Praxis Pathways Northwest – Annual Meeting Week ✨

This week marks an important milestone for us—our firar annual meeting! It’s a time to step back, reflect on where we’ve been, and lean into the future with clarity and courage.

At Praxis, we believe that healing and leadership don’t always require months of waiting. Sometimes what you need most is the right space to talk today, and the right tools to move forward today. 💡

That’s what this week is about: sharpening our mission, fueling our vision, and ensuring we’re ready to meet grief and leadership challenges with real-time, practical solutions.

We’re excited for the conversations, the ideas, and the momentum that will carry us into the year ahead.

Talk today. Tools today.
That’s more than a tagline—it’s our promise.

The world feels heavy right now.

Wildfires, political chaos, social unrest—and all of that on top of the personal losses people are carrying quietly in the background. I see it every day in my work.

As a board-certified chaplain working in grief and hospice care, I walk alongside people facing the hardest parts of life. But here’s what I’ve learned:
We are capable of holding grief and hope at the same time.

Right now, a lot of us are grieving things that don’t always have a name—disrupted routines, fractured relationships, burnout, even the loss of who we were before all of this.

That’s why I’ve built Praxis Pathways Northwest.
It’s a space for people and organizations to process grief, reclaim meaning, and develop leadership rooted in compassion—not just efficiency.

If you’re leading through uncertainty, caring for others, or just trying to stay grounded—I see you. Your work matters. Your presence matters.

Let’s keep showing up for one another.

Grief isn’t automated—it’s personal.
In this video, I share a recent conversation that reminded me why Praxis Pathways is different. While others focus on efficiency, we focus on connection. Our handwritten letters and tailored support aren’t just a nice touch—they’re the heart of what we do.

Watch to learn why real healing can’t be outsourced—and why your grief deserves more than a system. 💙

🧭 At Praxis Pathways Northwest, we believe emotions are not a weakness—they're a compass.

Too often in our culture, we’re taught to “power through” grief, to “stay strong” at work, or to keep our emotions tucked away in the name of professionalism.

But here’s the truth: unrecognized emotions don’t disappear—they show up in burnout, disconnection, and decision fatigue.

At Praxis Pathways Northwest, we help individuals and organizations recognize, understand, and move through emotion—not around it.

Whether you're grieving a loss, navigating a life transition, or leading a team through change, learning to name and process your emotions is the foundation of healthy growth.

That’s why I created Introduction to Grief and Mourning—a self-paced course launching June 15, designed to normalize the emotional experience of loss and give people the tools to move forward.

💡 Buy the course during the first week (June 15–21) and receive 25% off.

Let’s build workplaces and communities that honor what we feel—and recognize that emotion is not the end of the conversation, but the beginning of healing.

Follow along, share with someone who needs it, or visit www.praxispathways.org to learn more.

Praxis Pathways Northwest helps individuals and organizations grow through leadership retreats, grief support, and relationship-centered consulting. We provide tools, insight, and space for transformation—so you can lead with clarity, heal with intention, and live with purpose.

As the founder of Praxis Pathways Northwest, this is what Saturday morning looked like.

Not a big boardroom. Not a Zoom call. Just me, a table at a local coffee shop, a stack of envelopes, and some quiet time to write handwritten letters to my clients.

At Praxis Pathways, I believe that healing starts with being seen—not as a number, but as a person.

Each letter I wrote today was a small way to say: I see you. I hear you. I’m walking with you.

Grief work is deeply human. And I never want to forget that.

Thanks to the awesome folks at Seize the Bagel for giving me the space (and the cold brew) to do this heart-centered work.
