The Company was born in 1975 in San Jose, CA as American Fitness. Their mission and focus was to produce a more accurate foot measurement system and technically correct orthotics and insoles. In 1988 Company name changed to Amfit, Inc. and emphasis/focus placed on pioneering computerized equipment that measures the contours of the foot, and produces custom shoe orthotics and insoles for medical, therapeutic, comfort, and performance needs. now resides in Vancouver, WA, which is a suburb of Portland, OR. This facility houses the companies business offices, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities.
