If I had a nickel (inflation) for every time a doc told me, “You’re too young for arthritis” … I’d be a rich cat lady by now!! 😂
I finally found providers that take me seriously…. Well, pretty much because the degeneration started showing up on imaging and they had to 🥴
It’s so important to advocate for yourself until you get someone to listen.

👉🏻 Pro Tip…
When making my Doc appointments ~~ If the next available time is months out, I always get on the “cancellation list”!
I have had pretty good luck at getting in way sooner than my original appointment.
I made this appt last week and was scheduled for June but got in today, YAY…. Well, kinda yay… we will see how much yay I have this evening after 3 steroid injections and a 2 hr drive home 😂🥴

👍 Left CMC joint removal/replacement & pisiform bone removal - 3 month post-op, Everything is looking good…and finally feeling better!!
-It was a rough recovery. Even though it’s my non-dominant hand, it takes more of the grunt work than my dominant hand.
-Should be completely good to go at 6 months post-op. YAY!
-Got an injection in the right thumb also today, shots are still lasting for about 2 months so I’ll ride that out as long as possible.
