Following college, Iris pursued and completed her Master of Arts degree at the University of South Florida. Having been involved in the mental health services since 1994, Iris became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2009. Iris believes in a client centered approach in counseling to pursue mental wellness and strength. Betterment Mental Health Counseling, Inc. is pleased to announce the newest member of our incredible team of licensed mental health counselors - Emmanuel Gómez ("Manny"). Welcome to the team, Manny!

Manny is stationed in our Palmetto, FL office, located at 1303 A 10th St, East Palmetto, FL. 34221, where he will conduct in-person therapy for his clients. He is also available for online teletherapy statewide in Florida.

Among his many skills, Manny is fluent in both English and Spanish, and he specializes in mental health therapy for a wide range of circumstances. These include: PTSD; Anxiety; Depression; Grief/Loss; and Stress Management. Manny also provides Marriage Counseling, as well as therapy services to teens and adolescents (with parental consent).
