Centerpointe Counseling and Recovery in Venice is looking to hire a new Kristina 😅. She was an amazing therapist and group facilitator, did awesome assessments, and helped out in the office. All just working 3 days a week and home in time to pick up kids from school. Sadly, she left to work in her son's school after working with me for 10 years, yes, I am grieving! But at the same time so happy for her.

Are you a licensed therapist with a passion for helping individuals on the journey to recovery from Substance Use Disorder? We're seeking a dedicated therapist to direct our new office in Pt. Charlotte for our Intensive Outpatient Program.

About Us: As a respected leader in the treatment of Substance Use Disorder since 2012, CenterPointe Counseling and Recovery is locally owned and operated, with offices in Venice and Sarasota. We strive to provide quality, individualized, evidence-based education and treatment to those who suffer from the disease of addiction, in an environment that is physically, mentally, and spiritually enriching.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate is a seasoned therapist, skilled in leadership and meeting the standards of regulatory bodies such as the Joint Commission. Your responsibilities will include conducting group therapy sessions three evenings a week, as well as providing clinical assessments, treatment plans, etc. And, of course, you will experience the profound satisfaction of watching clients move from hopelessness to courage, from isolation to connection, from shame to self-worth.
Requirements:
• Licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state of Florida (CAP a plus)
• Documented experience in providing individual and group therapy for Substance Use Disorder
• Facility in addiction treatment modalities and evidence-based practices, including 12-step recovery
• Ability to independently manage the Charlotte County office with limited supervision
