🍏 1st pic: White Album recording session.
🍏 2nd pic: Recording session of While my Guitar Gently Weeps. People assume George Harrison plays the guitar solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." It sounds like him, it's his song, he must be playing, right? But it's Eric Clapton. There's a reason for this. The Beatles were getting along so poorly during The White Album sessions, that George asked Eric to come in because he knew "the lads" would be on their best behavior around Clapton. Which they were, having a good, conflict free day in the studio, as Clapton did his best Harrison impression on the solo.
🍏 3rd pic: Recording and mixing session of Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey. While my guitar gently weeps is a reference to "the monkey mind," which the Beatles were learning was NORMAL during meditation. You see thoughts are the natural by product of releasing stress. When the Beatles learned this, they knew, as the song says to "take it easy" and let meditation work its magic.
