Make the days count!📆

Rome wasn't built in a day, and the body of your dreams won't be achieved overnight. It takes a lot of time and effort to achieve that!⁣

This is why you need to make every single moment count. And no, I'm not telling you to devote your whole life to fitness and do nothing else but eat clean and train hard.⁣🙅

You can still reap the benefits of fitness while eating some of your favorite treats and doing activities that you like.

All I'm saying is that you should treat every day as an opportunity to work on your goals.⁣💪

Your goals won't be achieved if you don't make an effort to achieve them. It's good that you have dreams, but now it's time to stop dreaming and turn those dreams into reality.⁣🔥

Being happy is such a game-changer!⁣😁

A lot of us view happiness as a mood. Well technically, it is. But when we really think about it, happiness is so much more than just a mood!⁣😲

I honestly think that happiness is a lifestyle. I view it as a lifestyle because it affects the whole picture, from your health all the way to your productivity.⁣

When you feel good, you just perform better!

You suddenly become consistent with your workouts, eating healthy becomes easier, and working towards your goals turns into an activity that you enjoy doing.⁣💪

Happiness truly is a game-changer! We all know that happiness is amazing, but the truth is that being happy can be tough at times.

Our daily schedule can get so packed to the point that putting a smile on our faces seems impossible.⁣😓

But here's the thing. The way that we think plays a huge role in our mood. Happiness is all about gratefulness and positivity, and that's basically it. Master these two traits and happiness comes naturally!⁣

“It always seems impossible until it’s done!” 💪

Motivation is something we all struggle with, whether it’s getting out of bed in the morning or going to the gym like you said you would...

but the time to make a change is NOW!💥

There may be many obstacles in life, and they can keep you down, but that is where you and I should differ from the rest.

We should push ourselves every day to overcome those obstacles 💪 and strive to become the best version of ourselves that we can be, but that is easier said than done.

Whether it’s reaching that new PR or getting that shredded physique you always dreamed about, you should be aware that it won’t be easy and you won’t see results overnight.😐

Staying motivated may be the make-or-break between where you are now and where you want to be.

Here are some tips that you can you use to keep you motivated:
✔️Write down your goals and what you want to accomplish.
✔️Break down your goals into smaller steps.
✔️Review and update your goals regularly.
✔️Remind yourself about these goals and ask yourself if you’ve reached them.
✔️Surround yourself with supportive and like-minded people

Too many people don’t see results after a week and it may seem easier to just give up, but if you keep your head down and keep working hard it’ll pay off. 🏆 🔥

One habit that you should be incorporating into your day is meeting your nutritional needs! ⁠

Sounds simple but some of ya'll are not getting this right. Protein is a big one - many people are not consuming enough.!!⁠

The power is in the protein! 💥⁠

It’s vital for the repair, maintenance and rebuilding of muscle after a strenuous session! ⁠

It also makes you feel fuller for longer - so that you don’t find yourself craving unnecessary calories. 🍦⁠

This is where protein shakes come in handy. They fill that nutritional gap that’s often needed. ⁠

They’re quick to prepare and easy to consume - just what you need after a challenging session. 🏋️‍♂️⁠

Sometimes, you just gotta be the hardest working person in the room and not give a damn. 💪🏼🙌🏽⁠

If you're feeling self-conscious to walk in the gym, let me tell you something.⁠

Nobody cares how much you can lift or how much fat you have on your body.⁠

Nobody cares if you're wearing your favorite Nike's or a plain old muscle shirt. ⁠

If you're in here, trying to work your butt off because you want better health... then you have my respect. ⁠

You don't have to impress anyone at the gym, so stop worrying about what other people will think.⁠

Focus on yourself, you do you. ⁠

Here's to the best, youngest and most brilliant workout partner I ever had. ⁠

This little lady is always keeping me on toes, no excuses! 😆💪⁠

Being a dad is a wonderful thing - it's a potent mood booster for me. ⁠

One of the reasons why I'm inspired to take good care of my physical and mental health.⁠

I want to come home and have my kids look up to me as a good role model.⁠

🚫Avoid Gym Anxiety🚫

The gym is a frightening place 😰 when you have no idea 😭 what you’re doing.

😵The blinding lights...
🤫Pounding music...
🤐Grunting...people?...(are they even people? Bc some look bionic)
🤬Confusing instructions...
😳And to top it off, 👀 eyes 👀 ...everywhere...waiting to upload a video of us to 🚫Gym Fails🚫.

Leaving us with good old 🧟‍♀️Trusty Treadmill🧟‍♀️: our only “friend” in the gym.

Or is she?
..because we’ve hung out with 🧟‍♀️Trusty Treadmill🧟‍♀️ before and she 🚫never gave us🚫 the results she promised.

Only torment.

Like a bad friend 🙅🏻‍♀️ who told us they had our back 🤦🏻‍♀️but instead talked bad about it...
..no...screw 🤬Trusty Treadmill🤬.

It’s time to face our fears 🤩.

🔥 💨 Fire and Smoke making it hard to workout this Fall?

We get it. From bloody 🌡noses to sinus headaches 🤕, it’s hard to stay motivated.

But is it even healthy? 🤔 Nope.

In fact, these California Wildfires don’t just put ash 🗑 and soot in the air. It’s chemicals 🧬 from cleaning supplies burned 🔥, it’s plastics melted 🥵, paint evaporated ☁️...all of it being sent up our noses.

NOT ❌ GOOD.

But what? Do we stop working out? No way.

Take it indoors where air 🌬 is circulated through filters and large particles 🗞 aren’t able to make it inside.

In your car 🚗 use the circulation setting to keep outside air: OUT.

And when you’re done ✅ getting your sweat on, go home! Stay indoors and use this time to spend quality time with family, 🙏🏼 thankful for your home.
