👀 Do you actually know how much muscle you have?

Not your weight.
Not your BMI.
Not what the scale says after skipping carbs for 2 days. 😅

I’m talking about: 💪 MUSCLE MASS
💪 METABOLIC HEALTH
💪 What your body is ACTUALLY made of

Because here’s the truth…

Most people trying to “lose weight” have NO idea they’re also losing muscle — and that’s exactly what keeps your metabolism strong, your energy up, and your body functioning well as you age.

THAT is why everyone joining my Lean30 group gets a FREE InBody scan before AND after the program. 🔥

We’re measuring: ✔️ muscle gain
✔️ body fat changes
✔️ real body composition progress
✔️ not just a random number on the scale

And yes… part of this program is learning how to actually EAT enough to support muscle while improving body composition. 👏

Because tiny salads and starvation are out.
Strong, fueled, metabolically healthy bodies are IN. 💅💪

Friendly reminder:
🚫 Losing weight is NOT the goal if you’re also losing muscle.

Because muscle is what keeps your metabolism active, your body strong, and your energy up as you age. 💪

Stop chasing “smaller.”
Start focusing on stronger, healthier, and more metabolically supported.

If your weight loss plan isn’t helping you BUILD or maintain muscle… it’s working against you. 👀

Most people think weight loss is about eating less.

But what if the real goal should be learning how to build and PROTECT muscle instead? 👀

Because muscle is about so much more than appearance.

It directly impacts: 💪 Metabolism
💪 Strength + mobility
💪 Blood sugar balance
💪 Energy levels
💪 How well you age and maintain independence later in life

And this becomes even MORE important during a weight loss journey.

⚠️ The problem is that many people lose muscle right along with fat because they: ➡️ under-eat
➡️ don’t get enough protein
➡️ rely on quick-fix diets
➡️ focus only on the number on the scale

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about Lean30.

This isn’t about starving yourself or chasing “skinny.”
It’s about learning how to: ✔️ Fuel your body properly
✔️ Support metabolism
✔️ Improve body composition
✔️ Build habits that actually LAST

If you’re over 35, trying to lose weight, or simply want to stay strong and active as you age… this matters.

Somewhere along the way, people started believing that the goal of weight loss is to not be hungry… and to eat as little as possible.
But from a metabolic standpoint — that’s a red flag, not a win. 🚩
If you’re never hungry, your metabolism is likely downregulated! Your body isn’t asking for fuel because it has adapted to functioning on less.
While many assume people are “overeating,” what I see every day tells a different story:
➡️ Most people are undereating the nutrients that actually matter
➡️ Especially protein — many are only getting 20–40% of what their body needs to support muscle
That matters because muscle is metabolically active tissue. 💪🔥
Muscle plays a direct role in:
• Energy expenditure (your metabolism)
• Blood sugar regulation
• Hormonal balance
• Recovery, strength, and resilience

When you’re trying to lose weight without properly fueling your body — especially without enough protein — your body doesn’t just lose fat.
It loses ability to gain and maintain muscle...and when muscle goes down, metabolism follows!

This is why so many people:
• Plateau quickly
• Feel fatigued and unmotivated
• Regain weight more easily
• Never achieve the tone and physique they are looking for even after a major weightloss.

🚩The goal should never be:
🚫 “How can I eat less?”
🚫 “How can I avoid being hungry?

The goal should be about learning:
✔️ How do I support muscle while losing fat?
✔️ How do I fuel my body so metabolism works with me?
✔️ How do I improve body composition — not just the scale?

Hunger isn’t the enemy - It’s feedback.

When you learn how to respond to it properly, with the right structure, nutrients, and support — your body performs very differently.

Because true results don’t come from eating less…they come from fueling smarter. 💪

🧬HAPPY DNA DAY🧬

Most people are working hard on their health and fitness, I know I am! …but many are still guessing what actually works for their body.
Not me...because knowledgeis power! 💪

Have you ever considered why the same approach works for some people—and falls flat for others?

It usually comes down to one thing:
Your biology isn’t identical to anyone else’s.

That’s where this 🧬 changes EVERYTHING!

This DNA Day offering is designed to build your genetic blueprint—a clearer understanding of how your body is wired to function, including how you:
• process nutrients
• manage detoxification pathways
• regulate methylation
• produce cellular energy
• respond to stress and inflammation
• how your body responds to fats and carbs and even if fasting may harm your cells

This isn’t about chasing symptoms.

It’s about understanding the system underneath them—so you can make proactive decisions in your health and fitness instead of reactive ones.

DNA DAY SPECIAL OFFER:
*Available for the next 48 hours*

This is a contingent access window to map your genetic blueprint and translate it into a practical, proactive strategy for how your body is designed to operate.

Once the window closes, access returns to standard availability.

If you want clarity on how your body actually works—and what it needs to perform better—this is the time to act!

🌱 Day 15 – The Invisible Work (Trusting What You Can’t Yet See)

(Theme: Growth happens long before it’s visible.)

> “Just because you can’t see progress doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. The seed grows roots before it breaks the surface.” — Joshua Medcalf

In Chop Wood, Carry Water, John feels discouraged that he isn’t seeing visible results from his efforts. His mentor reminds him that, like a seed beneath the soil, the most important growth often happens underground — unseen, quiet, and slow. Those hidden seasons of struggle, repetition, and waiting are when your foundation is being built.

The lesson:
The invisible work — the habits, healing, discipline, and self-awareness you practice daily — is preparing you for the moment when your growth becomes visible. Trust that the roots are taking hold.

💡 Reflection: You can’t rush the process; you can only stay faithful in it.

✍️ Journal Prompts (Fill-in-the-Blank):

1. Something I’m working on that hasn’t yet shown visible results is __________.

2. Beneath the surface, I’m learning __________.

3. If I trusted that growth was happening even when I couldn’t see it, I would __________.

4. My “underground” work right now is __________.

🌱 Day 9 – Trusting the Process

(Theme: Patience in unseen growth)

> “Everyone wants to be great, until it’s time to do what greatness requires.” — Joshua Medcalf

In this chapter, John wrestles with his desire to arrive — to see the results of his effort now. His mentor reminds him that growth doesn’t always show on the surface. Just like bamboo, which spends years growing roots before breaking through the soil, our progress is often invisible until suddenly, it isn’t.

The lesson:
Transformation is not immediate. The process is the point. When we trust it — especially when we can’t see results — we develop the character required to sustain what we’ve been preparing for.

💡 Reflection: Sometimes the waiting seasons are the ones doing the deepest work in you.

---

✍️ Journal Prompts (Fill-in-the-Blank):

1. I get impatient when __________.

2. What I can’t yet see growing beneath the surface is __________.

3. Trusting the process means choosing to __________ even when __________.

4. If I fully believed that every step mattered, I would __________.

Day 28 – Where I Hold Back Joy

(Guidepost 10: Cultivating Laughter, Song, and Dance)

Joy can feel vulnerable. Brené Brown writes that many of us struggle to fully experience joy because we fear its loss — we brace for disappointment instead of allowing ourselves to feel the fullness of happiness in the moment. This “foreboding joy” keeps us from dancing freely, laughing loudly, or singing without apology.

To live wholeheartedly, we must stop rehearsing tragedy and start receiving joy. True joy is an act of courage — a declaration that we’re worthy of the beauty in front of us, even when life is uncertain.

💡 Reflection: Joy doesn’t require everything to be perfect; it only asks that we be present.

✍️ Journal Prompts (Fill-in-the-Blank):

1. I tend to hold back joy when __________.

2. The fear underneath that hesitation is __________.

3. A small, joyful moment I want to let myself fully experience is __________.

4. Today, I give myself permission to feel joy by __________.
