Little Sunshine Kids Summer Camp Day 1 ✅🧘🏽♀️☀️
This video shows a small part of what we learned:

Ages ranged from 6-11 🥰 and my personal highlight of the day was meditating!
Of all the things we did today, that was the one they found most challenging. (As do most adults 😅) we tried to do it in the classroom at first, but decided the weather was nice enough to go outside.
During the first meditation, you can see them wiggling and having a hard time with being still. After, I went through each kid and asked what they found most challenging. Once they shared, we talked about it, then meditated again. I guided them through it and asked them to focus on the wind, the sound of animals (birds, crickets, beetles), focus on breathing and noticing what was around them while they kept their eyes closed.
The second time was externally more distracting with people walking around and talking loudly, doors opening and closing, but guess what? 😆 NOT ONE even flinched!!! 🥹🙌🏽🙏 they were so centered, and while they all commented on noticing the distractions, none of them allowed the distractions to disturb their peace. 🥹❤️🔥🥰
THAT IS WHY I DO THIS!! That’s exactly it!! My whole heart is on fire, and this is absolutely the work I love doing so much!! Can’t wait until tomorrow!! 🥰🧘🏽♀️☀️
