How I Rebalanced My Mood While Letting Go of the “Chemical Fix” Mindset
We’ve all been told depression and anxiety come from a “chemical imbalance” in the brain—usually framed as low serotonin.
But here’s the catch: that serotonin theory was never actually proven.
Even mainstream psychiatry now admits it was more marketing than science.
When I stepped back from the “chemical fix” mindset, I discovered a different path: minerals as medicine.
That’s where iodine changed everything.
Instead of forcing neurotransmitters one way or another, iodine clears the interference—detoxing toxic halogens like fluoride, bromide, and chlorine that block healthy brain and thyroid function.
Once they’re gone, the body naturally begins to restore balance.
What surprised me most wasn’t just steadier mood and less anxiety—it was the subtle return of light.
With iodine, my pineal gland seemed to wake up again, like a hidden lens polishing itself clean.
Focus sharpened.
Spirit lifted.
The truth is simple: the body doesn’t always need more synthetic chemistry.
Sometimes it just needs the right mineral, in the right form, to remember what it was built to do.
