Today is the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month. Lets commit to talking about mental health with the care and honesty it deserves all year, every year because mental health touches every one of us either directly or through someone we love.

National Prevention Week is a reminder that prevention starts with connection, education, and community. Every conversation, resource, and act of support helps build healthier individuals and stronger communities. Prevention is not just about avoiding negative outcomes — it’s about creating opportunities for people to thrive, make informed choices, and feel supported before challenges arise. Together, we can continue promoting wellness, resilience, and hope for all.

At Thrive, we remain committed to strengthening prevention efforts and supporting the well-being of the communities we serve every day.

We are aware of recent media coverage regarding an individual arrested after making threats involving Thrive.

We are grateful to the Vero Beach Police Department for responding quickly and professionally to the situation.
At no time did an incident occur at our facility, and services have continued safely with minimal disruption.

The safety of our clients, staff, and visitors remains our highest priority.
We continue to maintain appropriate safety protocols and remain committed to providing a supportive, healing environment for those we serve.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and concern for our team and the individuals we serve every day.

Yesterday, Thrive IRC proudly celebrated the Ribbon Cutting for our Sebastian office, now serving at 7746 Bay Street in the Bay Street Plaza on US 1.

What started several years ago as testing services to better serve North County residents has grown into something much bigger. Today, this location expands access to both youth Prevention Services and Adult Treatment—bringing critical support closer to the people who need it most.

We’re proud to serve our community from this space and are deeply grateful to the partners and supporters who helped make it possible.

A special thank you to Theresa Tolle and Bay Street Pharmacy for their longstanding support and partnership—you’ve been part of this journey from the start, and we could not have done this without you!
