Today’s appointment was one for the books! Mom hadn’t had an ultrasound since way early on, so she came in to find out baby’s gender. Before we even started, I asked if she was hoping for a boy or a girl…she said girl, dad said boy.
I put the transducer on her belly, and right away… I saw two babies. Normally, you’d already know if you were having twins, right? I paused and asked when her last scan was, she said about 6 weeks…and then everything made sense. I told her, “You’re having twins!” She was speechless, and both mom and dad were in total shock.
And the best part? They each got their wish, one boy and one girl! She had also told me earlier she was “one and done” 😂 Well… maybe now it’s one pregnancy and done! Both babies were measuring exactly the same, too 🥰 baby girl was stealing the spotlight today though. Sooo amazing!! 😍
