Today, the Jersey City–Newark UASI Public Health Subcommittee Training & Tabletop Exercise, hosted with the Essex County Office of Public Health Management/LINCS Agency, brought together public health, healthcare, emergency management, and public safety partners from across the region to strengthen coordination, response, and community preparedness ahead of Summer 2026.

We are proud to congratulate our Community Health Worker, Ameera Abdul-Sabur, on earning her Master of Public Health (MPH). As well as our Spring 2026 Interns, Amy Gandia and Andrea Nogueria, on graduating with their Bachelor’s degrees in Public Health earlier this week.

Their dedication and commitment to serving the community have helped support meaningful public health initiatives, and we are proud to celebrate this accomplishment alongside them.
