Your safety is always my top priority. 💉
This clip shows a positive aspiration during Sculptra injection via cannula. This is an important safety check I perform prior to injecting.
While some providers may feel aspiration is not necessary when using a cannula or when injecting within a traditionally “safe” zone, I choose to aspirate prior to each injection point.
It takes only a few seconds and provides an added layer of safety by helping identify possible intravascular placement and reduce the risk of vascular occlusion before any product is placed.
For me, those few extra seconds are always worth it when it comes to patient safety, precision, and peace of mind.
Beautiful results always begin with safe technique and a deep understanding of anatomy-based care.
