Our annual friendly competition of bell ringing for The Salvation Army of Binghamton, NY between Vestal Rotary Club and AP Entertainment comes to a conclusion with the announcement today that Vestal Rotary Club nudged out AP Entertainment this year in funds raised for the Salvation Army! In all, we raised over $2,500 to support the good work that they do in the community! Great job by both organizations! And a big thanks to Miller Hyundai / Miller Honda, Broome Co-Operative Insurance Company and Broome County Clerk Aaron Martin for sponsoring as well!

Tomorrow is the big day! We find out the winner of the epic The Salvation Army of Binghamton, NY Fundraising Challenge! Will it be Team Vestal Rotary Club or Team AP Entertainment? Be sure to check back tomorrow afternoon to see the outcome!

A special thank you to EVERYONE who joined us for our 3rd annual ‘AP-Vent,’ and our traditional third week helping the The Salvation Army of Binghamton, NY!

Captain Joe will take our overflowing kettle and give us the number for our contest against Vestal Rotary Club to see who’s kettle had more, all for a great cause!

We appreciated that Vestal Police Department Chief Stace Kintner was able to join us at our meeting on Monday. Our Club has supported the Department over many years and we congratulate Chief Kintner on his coming retirement from Vestal and wish him well in his new role next year with the Broome County District Attorney's Office!
