1. Check Certifications: Ensure your PT is certified with a WCS (Women's Health Clinical Specialist) or PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification). These credentials indicate advanced training in pelvic health.

2. Look for a Comprehensive Approach: Internal work is just one piece of the puzzle. Your PT should assess how your entire body impacts your pelvic floor and include internal assessment when appropriate.

3. Consider a Specialty Clinic: While not essential, specialty clinics often offer a focused, one-on-one experience in a comfortable setting.
