To all the amazing clients of JW Massage,
First of all, I hope you are all safe and doing well. I miss each and every one of you. I wanted to inform you of the latest information about the opening of the office. Gov. Northam extended the non-essential offices, which included massage therapy, closure until May 8,2020. With this being said, as of right now the projected opening of JW Massage Therapy will be May 18,2020. Unless the order is again extended this will be the date that the office will open back up.
What will this look like for the clients?
~ First and foremost, this will be a process starting with first cleaning the office, as it has been closed to business and needs a thorough cleaning. The Chiropractor in the office has been working as needed and has maintained the general office in a thoroughly clean standard per the medical guidelines. This will also be followed within the massage therapy room as well.
~ Those clients that in the past had a standing appointment, the days and times will remain regardless if you return now or in the future. You all have to decided when you want to come in and resume therapy. For those that do not have standing appointments you can contact the office to make appointments when you are ready.
~As your therapist I will be wearing a mask during each session and will replace the mask with each client. I will not be enforcing the client to wear a mask within the confines of the therapy room.
~ I, as before, will continue washing my hands before and after each client. I will be wiping down all surfaces, including, but not limited to; headrest, chair, table, door k***s, between each client.
~Payment, one time use pens will not be provided and you will have a choice to use you own, use one I provide that has been wiped down after each use, or not sign the credit card slip at all. A reminder that packages are offered so payment transactions are limited, as well as checks and cash.
~ I will be taking clients back to the therapy room as soon as you enter the office to limit exposure to others seeing the chiropractor or the other therapist. To avoid waiting in the lobby, try not to come to early for your appointment as I might be still in session or closing with a client.
~ Note: If you are sick and have an appointment scheduled, as always, call the office and your appointment will be cancelled without penalty and will be rescheduled when you are well. This policy has and always will be the case.
