Happy National Cheeseburger Day…

Today Residents celebrated National Cheeseburger Day with juicy burgers fresh off the grill, topped just the way they like them.

🍔🔥 Huge thanks to Terry for donating the hamburger meat and spending time at the grill for our Residents — it was delicious and so appreciated!

Today, Residents enjoyed a cozy indoor “campfire “ lunch, bringing all the flavors and fun of a traditional outdoor meal inside. The menu featured hearty, grilled-style favorites that gave everyone a taste of the outdoors— without the need for a fire pit!

After lunch, Residents indulged in a classic treat with a creative twist: oven-baked s’mores! Warm, gooey marshmallows, melty chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers came together to create the perfect sweet ending to a delicious afternoon.

Even without the actual flames, today’s lunch delivered the warmth and charm of a real campfire gathering, proving that it’s not the fire but the people and the memories that make it special.

We finished off the day with several rounds of good ‘ole game of BINGO (per a few Resident requests). Everyone, walked away a winner. Resident Faye Williams won Blackout and walked away with the grand prize.

Thank you to my staff for helping me make the day so enjoyable.
