In the spirit of public health, we feel it is our civic duty to follow the state’s recommendation to prevent further spread of COVID-19. In compliance with the mandated public school closure dates, CL Therapeutic Massage, Vienna, VA (Fairfax County) will close beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. The present plans are to remain closed through April 10, 2020. The Meridian clock is a very useful tool for the diagnosis and treatment of energy imbalances. The human body has 12 meridians - each meridian complements its opposite meridian. Each of the 12 meridians flows in an up- or down-wards direction - one flows into the other.

What are the 12 meridians?
The Yin meridians of the arm are Lung, Heart, and Pericardium. The Yang meridians of the arm are Large Intestine, Small Intestine, and Triple Burner. The Yin Meridians of the leg are Spleen, Kidney, and Liver. The Yang meridians of the leg are Stomach, Bladder, and Gall Bladder.

Can acupressure relieve migranes headaches?
According to the Mayo Clinic, women are three times more likely to experience migraines than men. A migraine is more than just a bad headache. It can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
