What better way to end off the week than chatting about the tummy tuck recovery process😁

The tummy tuck recovery process depends on the type of tummy tuck procedure and your body’s healing capability. However, you can improve the recovery journey by following all the surgeon’s guidelines and taking all your medications. You’ll have to wear compression garments around your abdomen for a few weeks to minimize swelling. Most patients resume work and normal activities in a week or two, but you must avoid strenuous workouts for at least a month.

You’ll need to adhere to the following general guidelines in addition to personalized instructions from the surgeon:

⚡️ Stay home from work for at least two weeks.
⚡️ Walk lightly around the house as soon as possible to promote healing.
⚡️ Wear compression garments for at least two weeks.
⚡️ Arrange for someone to help you care for young children.
