We took a fieldtrip to the The Big Peach this morning to drop goatmilk soap that will be found in the CSA farm share bags next week! A BIG thanks to them for keeping it local and providing this service!!

Good luck to all who will be on the search this weekend! We haven't seen the big mushroom harvest we've been dreaming of yet this year, but we've made up some Jewlweed soap to help sooth skin irritation that can happen on the journey!

Jewlweed grows with ease right outside the window where we make up The Cottage Harvest creations. We harvested last year and infused this medicinal plant into water and oil, in preparation for soapmaking this spring. And here we are....ready to go, with soap in hand!

Extensive research on jewlweed (Impatiens capensis) supports its efficacy in preventing the annoying, and sometimes hurtful, irritation as a result of contact with poison ivy. It is also used to treat hives and rashes caused by other plants, such as stinging nettle, and insects.

Jewlweed soap is great to prepare skin for the woods, mowing, or any outdoor adventure. It's also amazingly hydrating and leaves skin soft and refreshed. The bars we have made up are unscented and $6 each. Message us to grab some for yourself! Make it a great weekend! ❤️

We just received a fresh shipment from our good friends in northern Indiana. With triple the antioxidants of blueberries(antioxidants help reduce inflammation), this powerhouse reduces the replication of viruses and gives temporary relief from colds and flu.

We weren't able to bring our Tea tree goatmilk soap to the market. It wasn't quite ready, but will be good to go by the end of this week.

We also had requests for goatmilk lotion that we were not able to bring to the market. We will be making that up this week. If you know that you would like some yourself, let us know and we will make sure to put your name on it!

Yes, we really do enjoy making wellness products this much!

The smile on Janna's face confirms that we are a week away from our next pop up shop at the Creative Market Solutions market at 1972 KCARC !!!

In this picture, Janna is pouring a small batch of our CBD isolate tincture. CBD has shown to be useful for wellness in a plethora of ways, and this batch was used in our Healing Stick. Pain relieving, topically soothing, and universal healer are some ways that customers describe this product.

We have some special soaps coming up in February! While you're waiting, we have our crowd pleaser, Lavender Patchouli goatmilk soap ready to go now!

We also just melted some ingredients to get more tallow whip made up! Not ready for a tallow product? We have plenty of healing salve made up to use alone (wherever skin issues may be) or layer it with the tallow whip for more intense healing and hydration!

We had a blast, loved seeing you all, and hope you enjoyed the handmade, wellness products you were able to sample and purchase. We have been busy trying to catch up and keep up with orders and prepare for the next market coming up in February!
