Everyone wants to know the secret recipe for home organization….and I have the answer for you…..

• Have less stuff! Constantly decluttering will help your home organization the most! Create a weekly and monthly schedule where you go through drawers, closets and toy bins and get rid of things that no longer serve your family.

•Keep your systems simple! Don’t over think it. Your house doesn’t need to look like The Home Edit came over. If you have to work at keeping your systems running, they’re not working for you.

•Toss the floaters! Have something that just doesn’t work in any particular spot, put it on market place, pass down to someone else or just throw it away. If it doesn’t have a spot, it’s probably not worth keeping.

I’ve recently transitioned back to corporate life, and let me tell you, being a SAHM and full time working mom are equally as draining! Here are some simple tricks I use to maintain energy levels and avoid that 5pm fatigue!

💦Staying hydrated and eating balanced meals and snacks helps to stabilize blood sugar levels 🩸

🙆‍♀️ Proper posture and movement throughout your day helps to avoid fatigue, strain, and gets your blood flowing

☀️Get outside (or use sunlight therapy) during the day and disconnect when you’re away!

Mamas, life happens. Sometimes you get off routine for a week, or a month, or even longer. It’s ok! It’s always a good time to get back on track!

You may have even noticed I’ve been a little quiet on social media lately. In full transparency, I devoted a lot of my time to planning an event this summer and as soon as I was ready to refocus, my family got hit with the never ending virus. It’s been frustrating to say the least, but also given me fresh perspective on keeping up with our routines and healthy habits as we head into the new school year. We are finally on the mend this weekend.

Everyone “bounces back” differently, but these are my favorite tips!
🗓 I take a few minutes to write down meals and exercise for the next week. This helps me commit to my goals!
🍎I prep easy a few easy meals and my fruits and veggies so I have quick snacks and meals (more time to catch up all the laundry 🧺and cleaning)
🙏Don’t expect to go 0-60 in the first day or two, especially if you’re recovering from being sick. Be realistic with your movement and efforts but do try to push yourself a little (even if that’s just showing up!)
👏 Give yourself credit for all the positive efforts. Try to stack a few quick but productive tasks in a row. This will motivate you for the day!

It’s a new month! 🗓 Isn’t this quote from a class so fitting to start or restart goals?!

Focus on one☝️, and just one goal this month. If you really think about, you should have a few small action steps to work towards one goal. That’s why setting multiple goals at once can feel exciting at first, but then quickly overwhelming. Achieve one goal, and work towards the next.

Ever feel like you just “want a snack” but you’re really not hungry? 🙋🏼‍♀️

I keep these beverages on hand to sip on around 3pm or while I’m making dinner. Of course, if I’m truly hungry I will eat but most of the time these ward off those cravings.

And a big plus- they all have amazing healthy benefits. Aiding healthy digestion, collagen and probiotics are a few to start the list! And bonus, all of them are less expensive than an afternoon Starbucks run!

Mamas, do you ever feel like you say yes 👍to too much and then feel instantly burned out, overwhelmed or guilty🤦‍♀️? It’s ok to say no 🙅‍♀️ even if it feels awkward. Maybe you feel like you have the time but do have the energy and bandwidth to take on more?

The best way to feel like you’re protecting your the time and energy (aka bandwidth) is to be honest with yourself about your true priorities. Make a list. 📝Center your day to day activities around that list. You’ll find yourself spending time doing the things that matter most in this season this of life, and way less guilt saying no to things that don’t fit right now.

I’m constantly amazed at how my wellness coaching has unlocked new opportunities for me, and being able to plan and execute a wellness event for foster care parents is definitely my favorite. I love giving back to our community, especially to parents who selflessly care for foster care children and take on so much additional responsibility and stress.

They thoroughly enjoyed learning about nutrition with , stress management (me 🤗) and financial management tips with !

I’m so grateful for all of our partners who made this event possible, and for for giving and I the opportunity to put our experiences together to create such a fun evening!

Special thanks to and for your flexibility with our changes due to severe weather. Your partnership means so much and look forward to working together on a future event!!
