When husband opts for a regular pizza, it’s time to improvise so I don’t crack. 😂 5g net carb wrap base with 0g carb Walden Farms BBQ, shredded mozzarella and sharp cheddar, black olives, shallots fried in butter, whole toasted garlic cloves, and a swirl of Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce. 🥰

Not pretty, but it’ll do! 3g net carbs // 380 cals. Thank the travel gods for breakfast menus! 🙌🏻

🚨HELP🚨 Leaving first thing tomorrow for a week-long trip and need some (vegetarian-friendly) keto tips! Tomorrow is a full travel day (3 flights) and then it’s a week of being on-location away from easy access to refrigerators. Looking for airport food tips (or if you know of specific things at ORF, ATL, SLC, or JAC!) and then what to pick up at the store that can be tossed in a backpack and/or doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Thanks guys!

Whipped up some keto pancakes! 3g net carbs, 19g fat, 7g protein, 201 calories per pancake. 🙌🏻 I had three pancakes, but easily could’ve stopped at two (at sick level of full currently). Topped with sugar-free syrup and Nut Pods dairy-free French vanilla cream. Even my two-year-old couldn’t stop saying “yummy!”. 😂 Swipe for nutritional info for all three cakes and toppings!

Getting serious! I HATE needles, but was desperate for some science to back up my gut feeling on whether I was in . I’ve tried the p*e sticks, but they go bad so quickly after you open them and they’re just not accurate enough for me. Took the plunge and ordered a KetoDoc monitor off of Amazon! It was so easy to set up and the prick wasn’t that bad (even for a big baby like me), and now I know that I’m in *light ketosis* — 0.5 mmol/L-1.0 mmol/L is considered light ketosis, whereas 1.5-3.0 is the “sweet spot” for keto weight loss. Now I know that I need to restrict those carbs a bit more! Yay science! 🙌🏻

For those who were wondering about that pasta meal, here are the details! There were some dried herbs as well and some salt for flavorings, but this is the gist! CarbManager lists all carbs in the veggie crumbles as coming from fiber, so it nets out to zero. Hopefully the app is right, because that’s great news for veggie keto p*eps! 🙌🏻🌱
