NEW PROGRAM LAUNCH | The Reading Refuge — a monthly reading and reflection series designed for people navigating breast cancer recovery, reconstruction, and life after treatment.

Each month explores themes common to survivorship, including body image, fear and uncertainty, grief, resilience, self-trust, connection, and rebuilding after medical change. Books are thoughtfully selected from nonfiction, memoir, essays, and literary works that support emotional healing and reflection.

The group is flexible and welcoming: drop in any month, read as much or as little as you’d like, and participate at your own comfort level. Content notes and emotional intensity guidance are provided for each selection.

First gathering: Sunday, March 1, 1-2:30pm, 2829 Shore Dr. Ste. 200

Our very first Coastal Hope for Healing Mentorship meeting was filled with lively conversation, inspirational stories, and true camaraderie. 💕

If you missed today’s meeting, don’t worry! This is just the start — we’ll be meeting every first Saturday of the month, during which mentors/mentees can check in with each other, newbies can join, and we all can benefit from the collective.

💗 Calling All Reconstruction Warriors! 💗

Have you been through the breast reconstruction journey and want to give back?

Coastal Hope for Healing is launching a brand-new mentorship program—and we’re looking for compassionate, experienced survivors to help light the way for others just beginning their path.

As a mentor, you’ll be paired with another seasoned survivor and matched with a duo of “newbies” who are navigating the early stages of reconstruction.

Together, you’ll form a small circle of support, where questions are answered, stories are shared, and no one walks alone.

We’ll help with all the details—your role is to show up, listen, guide, and connect.

✨You’ve walked this path—now help someone else find their way. Let’s build a stronger, more connected healing community—together ✨
