This week at Bay Lake, we celebrated the heart and soul of our community — our incredible Activity Professionals! From bringing joy and purpose to every day, to creating meaningful moments that truly make Bay Lake feel like home, this team does it all.

To say thank you, we surprised them with baskets filled with their favorite items, RUI University swag, and lunch from their favorite local spot — a small token of our BIG appreciation.

Casino Night at Bay Lake was a huge win! 🎰

We want to give a big thank you to the Knights of Columbus for an unforgettable Casino Night! Our residents tried their luck at roulette, craps, horse racing, blackjack, and Texas Hold’em, and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The cards were flying, the dice were rolling, and the smiles said it all—what a fun night at Bay Lake! 🃏

We rang in the New Year in style during our New Year’s Celebration Dinner featuring live music by Barbara Blair. Residents and guests enjoyed an amazing meal prepared by the Taste of RUI team while sharing laughter, conversation, and festive cheer.

As we raised a toast to the year ahead, we also took time to reflect on the wonderful memories made throughout 2025. Thank you to everyone who helped make this past year so special—we look forward to creating even more meaningful moments together in the year to come! 🥂

What a night to remember at the Bay Lake Annual Holiday Party! 🎄

Families, residents, and friends gathered for an evening filled with holiday cheer, incredible food from the Taste of RUI team, and wonderful music. Tunes were provided by Stan the Sax Man, The Doorway Singers serenading us with classic Christmas carols, and Art Rowe, creating the perfect festive atmosphere all night long! 🎷

We were also honored to welcome Virginia Beach City Councilman Joashua F. Schulman, District 9, who joined us for this special celebration. Thank you to everyone who made this joyful evening so memorable!
