I love this!

Hey, the universe is always serving you.

Everything’s always happening for your good.
Sometimes the universe has to rearrange people and situations in your life to make more space for more blessings.

So don’t judge it.
The person that breaks your heart…
The person that cheated you…
The person that robbed you…

At some point, you’ll realize... they were all God in disguise, reminding you of who you were.

Life can be challenging sometimes, you know.
Sometimes you go through stuff and you pray to God and you wonder:
“God, why is this happening to me? What’s going on?”

You don’t realize that when the ground of your life is shaking, and you pray to God,
“Help! The ground of my life is shaking!”
You don’t realize: God is the one that’s shaking your ground.

Because the universe is clearing things away that are not aligned.

In many ways, when we go through things, we don’t understand.
But the deeper you go… the deeper I go…
The more I see that everything is the hand of the Divine.

The relationship.
The breakup.
The heartbreak.
The divorce.
The pain.
The death.

All of it… is bringing you closer to yourself.

We often can’t see it in the moment.
We often only realize years later.

What if everything was God speaking to you?
What if everything was God evolving you?
What if everything was God loving you?

Creating variations on poses and personalizing asana practice is about honoring the unique human bodies we are bringing to the mat. Bodies change from day to day (minute to minute, even!) and throughout the seasons of our lives. Honoring the body you bring to the mat today by treating your body with kindness, compassion, and ally-ship (as opposed to something to be subjugated or “fixed”) is a way of practicing ahimsa (non-violence) and satya (truthfulness) together. Personalizing your practice is powerful!
