Step right up to a day done the Watercrest way! 🎪🎈

Community carnivals across locations brought the midway to life: At Watercrest Buena Vista, the community was decked out for a full day of games, pig racing, a dunk tank, an interactive magic show from David Berardi (with plenty of raffle winners by the end). Watercrest Richmond kept things going despite rain, with carnival treats, seven game stations, gift basket raffles, and live music. Watercrest Fredericksburg filled their day with classic games, funnel cakes, adorable animals, and clowns that kept the fun moving.

The biggest standout? Sage Park Austin brought residents and families together with 11 booths from local vendors (who we love!), a strong lineup of volunteers, and a clown handing out flower and sword balloons all afternoon!

These are the kind of days that leave more than good pictures behind. Our teams understand the bigger picture: create energy and bring a some extra whimsy to our seniors' days!

Whimsy often begins with someone on the team noticing a small opportunity and choosing to make something more of it.

At Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care, a surprise donation of flowers became a meaningful for residents to share something beautiful. They gathered to create floral arrangements and for those who could not attend, extra arrangements were made and delivered so the joy of the afternoon could reach them, too. 💐🌿

These are the moments that reflect daily life in a Watercrest community: thoughtful, responsive, purposeful, and so very joyful!

Sage Park Guadalupe gave us a beautiful example of how meaningful an intergenerational tradition can be! 💚

Their "Senior-to-Senior Prom" brought together Tivy High School seniors and community residents for an evening of conversation and classic dance moves shared across generations. We especially love seeing residents Bill Griffin and Gay Hibdon crowned Prom King and Queen, and the way this event created space for students and residents to enjoy a very special night together.

It's a beautiful example of how intergenerational experiences through can bring genuine connection to community life! 👑

Mother’s Day looked a little different across each Watercrest community, but the heart of the celebration was the same!

From harp music and family brunches to treasured photo displays, mimosas, special menus, and first-time traditions, our teams created moments that gave residents and families the chance to slow down and honor the women who have spent so much of their lives caring for others.

Even the loveliest brunch could never match the love mothers have poured into the lives around them, but across our communities, it was a joy to celebrate them with the attention and gratitude they deserve. 💐

Taco 'bout a party! Cinco de Mayo brought out the festive side of Watercrest community life. 🪅

The holiday brought plenty of color and festivity across Watercrest as our communities each put their own signature spin on the day. Featuring live music and tacos, margaritas and creative celebrations, every gathering reflected the genuine sense of community that makes Watercrest life so personal.

Across every table, every toast, and every song, the bigger picture was easy to see: people coming together, enjoying the moment, and making community life feel fully lived.
