This community recently marked 92% occupancy, showing the momentum building there since our leadership began in late 2024. The celebration came with a little extra fun, thanks to and a 90s-themed Community Connections Meeting, but the milestone itself is what made the moment.

Easter looked a little different from one Watercrest community to the next, and that is part of what made it so special! 🐣💙

At Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care, residents enjoyed Easter Bunny visits, egg decorating, and an egg hunt that brought back memories of holidays spent with their children. Watercrest Buena Vista also joined in with an Easter egg hunt, while Watercrest Fredericksburg celebrated its very first Easter as a community!

The Easter Bunny then stopped by Watercrest of St. Lucie West, thanks to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, and the community’s annual potluck and egg hunt had staff jumping into the pool for the big prizes. Watercrest Palm Beach Gardens celebrated with its Annual Easter Egg Extravaganza with Jupiter High School student volunteers helping hide. Over at Watercrest Richmond, residents chose a petting zoo over an egg hunt, and it quickly became the talk of the community. Finally, in Watercrest Winter Park, the weekend brought musical guests for a mix of joy and reflection.

Different communities, different traditions, same heart behind it all. We are Watercrest!

Watercrest Winter Park's recent "Pampering Spa Day" is a beautiful example of a made by team effort. Created with care by our directors and community partners, VITAS Healthcare, PAM Health, and MobileMed - Mobile Medical Care Inc., every detail of the space set the tone for a calm, welcoming experience, with aromatherapy, floral bouquets, soft music, and a themed community room! 🌸

Watercrest residents were treated to sea salt scrubs, hand and foot care with oils and lotions, facials, foot spas, and chair massages by Giovanni, massage therapist for the day. Time with Studio Agnew added a creative element, where residents made bookmarks while enjoying refreshments, mocktails, and tropical smoothies prepared by Chef Kevin. Many shared that they had never experienced a day like this before, and hearing that they left feeling renewed said it all!

Experiences like this speak to the programming standards built across Watercrest, shaping the thoughtful resident-centered approach our communities are known for.

The first week at Watercrest Fredericksburg has already marked a meaningful start, as we welcomed our very first residents into their new homes. The team celebrated a successful launch day that included three special memory care move-ins.

The momentum continues to build, with many more move-ins ahead and new reservations being made each day. We are grateful for the dedication of the entire Watercrest Fredericksburg team, whose hard work and commitment helped bring this vision to life. Here’s to new neighbors, new beginnings, and the start of a remarkable community.

Poodle skirts, root beer floats, and Elvis in the buildings? Our communities were completely transformed into rockin' 1950s diners for a spectacular company-wide Sock Hop celebration! 👗

Watercrest Richmond and Sage Park Austin jitterbugged the day away with live music and frosty root beer floats. Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care brought out poodle skirts and Pink Ladies, while Sage Park San Antonio served up the ultimate all-American menu. We even had Elvis in the building at Watercrest Winter Park, serenading a former sweetheart and singing happy birthday to our 101-year-old birthday girl, Mary.

Shared celebrations like this bring so much personality to community life, while giving each location room to showcase its own style, hospitality, and !

There is something special about seeing a new community start to fill with the people who will shape it every day. Orientation at Watercrest Fredericksburg gave us a first look at that: new team members stepping into the building, getting to know one another, and beginning the work of bringing this community to life.

It also meant a lot to see local partners already showing up for them. Thank you to Comfort Keepers of Frederick, Care Advantage, Inc., Magnolia Home Care, and Amedisys for helping welcome the team and for being part of this early chapter.

After so much time spent building toward opening, these first days of orientation made it all feel even more real. Watercrest Fredericksburg is getting closer, and this team is a big part of why that matters. 💙

Some of the most meaningful moments in community life start with a simple question.

At Sage Park San Antonio, residents recently took part in an activity for National that asked them to share the little things that bring them joy, along with a few small wishes that would make life a little better. The responses were thoughtful, personal, and wonderfully specific, everything from a Whataburger meal to decaf espresso coffee to lavender shower gel.

Those notes will be framed in a shared space as a reminder that knowing someone well often starts with paying attention to the details. The plan is to work with community partners to help make those wishes come true, one resident at a time.

It's a great example of how Sheena Jeffries's Live Exhilarated programming allows whimsical moments, like wishes on sticky notes, to make way for important acts of personal care. 💛

We recently marked a BIG milestone for Watercrest Fredericksburg! The community has completed construction, received its certificate of occupancy, and is preparing to welcome founding residents in early April. Located across from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, the new community offers 106 assisted living apartments and 36 memory care apartments with signature amenities and services designed around comfort, connection, and care.

St. Patrick’s Day looked a little different across Watercrest, but the shenanigans showed up everywhere! ☘️

At Sage Park Austin, residents leaned into their day with wearing green (so no one gets pinched!), leprechaun hats, shamrock glasses, and leprechaun floats. Watercrest Buena Vista celebrated with live music from Krista Joy, along with special drinks and food. Watercrest Richmond gathered for a St. Patrick’s Day themed brunch, while Watercrest of St. Lucie West kept the day busy with blackjack, cookie decorating, Irish trivia, shamrock shakes, green beer, and Irish entertainment!

That is one of the things we love about community life. One holiday can turn into brunch, music, games, floats, painting, or just a room full of people happy to participate in the shenanigans.
