Rise and Shine Tay Tay!!! Time for school!

I enjoy these days for her. The CBI (Community Based Intervention) field trips are spent going somewhere local in the community. Nothing major. Today was a trip to the park and then to IHOP but she loves going out and it helps to teach them social skills, how to order food, or other basic interventions.

This moment right here… real life.

Many autism parents unspoken fear is…..even when our kids are grown up, they will still need someone. It’s bigger than just get them to adulthood for us.

What helped me with this fear was strengthening my relationship with GOD. I know Taylor will be fine and protected. I also know no one will ever care for her like I will but that’s OK. There are many resources available to prepare for our loved ones care to do your part and leave the in the best care possible.

Special Needs Trust, ABLE accounts, DDA, guardianship, and more. Start working on things now because these things and taking care of yourself is the best gift you can give the for their future.

“If you’re an Autism Mom and you feel like your body is falling apart faster than other women your age — you’re not imagining it.

Chronic stress from caregiving keeps your cortisol elevated. And when cortisol stays high, it steals from your progesterone, crashes your energy, and throws your hormones completely off balance.

You’re not just going through perimenopause. You’re going through it while running on empty. While absorbing your child’s meltdowns. While skipping your own meals and sleep.

Your nervous system has been in survival mode for years. And your body is keeping score.
The exhaustion you feel? It’s not weakness. It’s your body waving a white flag.

The good news? When you understand what’s actually happening inside your body, you can start to restore it.

“That’s exactly what I help Autism Moms do.”

Save this if you needed to hear it. And follow for more support made specifically for you.

Happy National Siblings Day! 💕💕💕

To all the siblings that love unconditionally and meet others with kindness and love.

Every vacation we ever took was either cut short or impacted by Taylor’s health or needs. They have never complained and just roll with it. The mom guilt I hold for how their lives have to be impacted is my own and I’m reminded that it’s ok when I see their kindness, humility, gratefulness, and appreciation over small things often overlooked by many. GOD has his plan for our experiences and path and I’m glad to see the positive that comes from the struggle that comes with our journey. Those positives are shown through them.

For all the activities missed, limitations, and sacrifices made behind closed doors. You are seen, appreciated, and valued.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙

A gentle reminder:
Be kind. Be patient. Be supportive. You never know the battles someone is navigating behind the scenes.

For the caregivers—the parents, the advocates, the ones showing up every single day with love and strength—you are seen. Your work is sacred, even on the days that feel overwhelming. And yes… you deserve rest too. You deserve support. You deserve a break.

Let’s create a world where neurodiversity is embraced, differences are honored, and no caregiver feels like they have to do it all alone.

💙 Kindness matters
💙 Support changes lives
💙 Community heals

Drop a 💙 if you love or support someone Ausome💙

Fruits and veggies are non-negotiable for your health — full stop. However they’re grown, however you can afford them. Please don’t let perfect be the enemy of good here. 🙌🏽

That said, I do think it’s worth knowing what’s on your food — especially during perimenopause, when your body is already working overtime to stay in balance. Pesticide exposure is one of those sneaky stressors that can quietly add to your toxic load and mess with your hormones.

That’s why I love EWG’s Shopper’s Guide. It’s not about fear or guilt — it’s about information. Their analysis looked at 54,000+ USDA samples of fruits and veggies (all washed or peeled first!) and ranked them by pesticide residue levels.
Here’s the quick breakdown:

🍓 Dirty Dozen = highest pesticide residue (prioritize organic here when you can)
🥑 Clean Fifteen = lowest residue, nearly 60% had none detected
🍅 Everything else = somewhere in the middle
Use this as a guide, not a rulebook. Buy organic where it matters most, conventional where it doesn’t, and always — always — eat your produce.

💾 Save this post so you have it next time you’re at the grocery store!

was a Beautiful Event filled with beautiful Women at a beautiful space put together by . She did a wonderful job honoring women and encouraging them to prioritize self as the focal point. I served in the Wellness Suite standing in my purpose as support to perimenopause women who are trying to get their life back and feel well in their bodies.
