Tis the season for colds .. 🤧🫩

Here in the UP I think we are in our first fake Fall. Trees maybe turning, the golden rod is getting more yellow everyday, it maybe in the low 40s at night, but give it one or two more good weeks with a high of 80s or 90s.

It's senior year for my daughter. . So you know sickness with be spreading around the school. Then it seems my husband's work is a germ fest too, it all comes back in our house no matter what you do. 🙄.

So let's start the herbal meds sooner than later !!!

Garlic infused honey-
Immune booster, Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, Soothes colds and sore throats, Supports digestion and gut health, Cardiovascular health:

Oregano Oil-Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Antimicrobial and antifungal effects, Supports gut health, Boosts immune system, Aids in weight loss.

Onion infused In Honey - Soothes the throat, Fights infection, Acts as an expectorant, Reduces inflammation, Supports the immune system.

The Onion infused in honey will made soon. I ran out of honey. 🤷‍♀️ This is why the garlic honey isn't filled. Then elderberry syrup will be made sometime soon too. I still have a jar in the freezer . 😁

Today, Eleanor and I picked some of our marigolds. These beauties will be used for in our home-made chicken herb blend to sprinkle in the coop & for treats!

We will have a few more herbs we will be added after we pick and dry them... Then we'll show you the finish blend !

When you have so much mint in your garden, you make some refreshing mint water ! It feels amazing in this heat, and helps acid reflux!!! Plus who doesn't love the smell...

I gave some to my daughter the other night, she had some acid reflux going on. She thought I was crazy, and told me " ya know in the old days you'd be known as a witch mom and drowned".... its like well yeahh I know ..

But it works !!

Good evening yall!! I was gonna walk the property, but its too hot !! So what do I do a humid hot day? I drain happy tinctures and bottle them.. Now I just have to wait till the labels come in.

I have never seen Wild Bergamot ever since we lived here .. Well the whole one trail is covered in it ! So my two daughters and I went and picked alittle.

Now its brewing & making a happy tincture!!

💜💮Wild Bergamot aka bee-balm.. 💮💜
Great for soothing minor wounds and infections.

The beautiful Raspberry Leaf .. Eleanor and I picked many before the storm hit us today . Now they are drying to be used for tea. Below is some knowledge on the Raspberry Leaves.

Benefits during Pregnancy:
May help prepare the uterus for labor, shorten labor, even can reduce the need for labor interventions, helps with nausea.

Benefits during Menstruation:
May reduce menstrual cramps and relax the uterine muscles, potentially reducing cramps. May help regulate menstrual cycle by balancing hormones, particularly estrogen and progesterone .Can reduce heavy periods. May help with PMS symptoms such as mood swings, irritability, and nausea.

Other Potential Benefits

There are moments you just need to stop what you're doing, and go enjoy a sunset. It can be at the beach, lake, mountains, dirt back roads, or even in your backyard like I did lastnight.

Sunsets for some reason give me a feeling of peace, and calm (even if the mosquitoes are slowly draining my blood). Maybe its because I told my soul dog Khione to paint the sky, and always meet me at the sunset. In the two pictures you can see a heart in the sky.. Signs are everywhere of your loved ones. 🧡💜
