Cogdell, Mattison & Associates and Gifted Child would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Gamma Chi Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated for stepping forward as a community partner in the Keep It 200 for Autism initiative.

Through this partnership, the Gamma Chi Omega Alumni Chapter is also donating much needed gloves for autistic support classrooms.

These gloves are essential for paraprofessionals and staff who support students that require personal care throughout the school day. Your donation helps ensure that classrooms have the necessary resources to care for students with dignity while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Cogdell, Mattison & Associates and Gifted Child would like to give a major shout out to the Ram Squad’s new Assistant Coach, Coach Thompson, for stepping up in a big way.

Coach Thompson donated noise cancelling headphones for FIVE autistic support classrooms, helping ensure that students have the tools they need to learn, regulate, and thrive in their school environments.

Cogdell, Mattison & Associates is seeking a venue for volunteers to sort and package noise cancelling headphones on Saturday, April 11, 2026, immediately following the Gifted Child Autism Walk.

Packaging will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM. We are in need of a clean, accessible space that can accommodate volunteers as we prepare classroom distributions for students throughout Delaware County.

Cogdell, Mattison & Associates, soon to add Brown, is proud to recognize and thank Rick Hunter, a family member of Karla Hunter Brown , in honor of “CJ’s Classroom,” for his generous donation of fidget devices and a sensory blanket.

Because of this meaningful gift, seven classrooms will now have access to fidget supports that help students regulate their emotions, strengthen focus, and remain engaged in learning. These tools are not simply items in a box—they are bridges to access, dignity, and inclusion for children who benefit from sensory support.

In preparation for Autism Awareness Month, Cogdell, Mattison & Associates is expanding our commitment to inclusive and responsive school environments.

To date, we have secured 75 noise cancelling headphones for autistic classrooms, and we are continuing to grow this movement.
We are now preparing Emergency Sensory Support Bags for select school districts to ensure students are supported during unexpected or high stress situations.

These bags will include sensory blankets, noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools, gloves, and pull ups if needed. Our goal is to ensure that when a moment of crisis arises, schools are prepared to respond with dignity, care, and appropriate sensory support.
