Family Pharmacy is happy to announce that we will, again, be the only Preferred Pharmacy with BCBS Medicare in the Walnut Cove area for 2024.

Some BCBS members may have received a letter from BCBS stating that Family Pharmacy would no longer be preferred for 2024. However, in the time since the letters have been mailed, we have been in contact and have signed a contract to maintain Preferred Status with BCBS. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Do not hesitate to call us (336.591.7171) if you have any questions.

Benzodiazepines and drugs with strong anticholinergic effects have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease in people who take them. Higher doses and longer use were associated with higher risk. There are several alternatives to both types.
