The body keeps the score... both processed and unprocessed scores... The "score" is rooted in memories, experiences, sensations, and so much more.

Last year driving to Southern California/LA area I had this connection to my body and that it was trying to tell me something. I didn't know exactly what at the time but had an intense sense of sadness. I cried through LA traffic, thinking I'd officially lost my mind.

This year, again driving to the same area, I had the same heaviness show up. But this year having processed what showed up last year I knew what I was meeting in that moment. I knew what version of me was showing up saying "Hey, I need some care and attention". I let the tears show up and honored them for the reminders of my lived experiences. I met the moment with curiosity and acceptance to let the drive be what it needs to be, tears or laughter or both.

This specific drive to LA connects to memories of loved ones, departures, and arrivals of romance, laughter, grief, worry, tenderness, confusion, connection, and so much more...

Just know there's wisdom in your body. Allow yourself to get curious enough to ask "What are you trying to show me?"
