Full-time temp to perm production assembly opportunity. (Part-time will be considered for qualified candidates who are unable to work full time hours.)
Small custom battery pack assembly organization is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Assemblers/Production Workers, preferably with soldering and/or resistance welding experience in a manufacturing environment, to join our team.
Applicants who also possess production operations management and scheduling experience will be given special consideration.
Daily responsibilities will vary and may include kitting, assembly, quality control, testing, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and other duties as assigned.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Resistance welding-soldering electrical connections
-Crimping terminals 18-24 AWG-Shrink wrapping battery packs using 4-6 mil shrink wrap size 40-300 millimeters
REQUIREMENTS
-Excellent soldering skills and/or dexterity with small hand tools
-High attention to detail and quality
-An energetic, positive team player with the ability and desire to multi-task and help out where needed
-Ability and self-motivation to learn quickly and independently
-Excellent communication skills
-Must have reliable transportation/ability to get to work each day
-Full-time availability on a consistent schedule, 8:30-5
-Ability to follow company set procedures
-Ability to keep a clean and organized workspace
-Ability to do the same task for extended periods of time, while flexible enough to move from task to task as required
-Ability to lift at least 30 lbs without issue
-Self-motivated to meet and exceed set goals
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work independently as well as with others
OTHER (DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED)
-Technical degree and solid knowledge of battery technology
-IPC certification
-Experience in measuring to 1/64ths
-Experience working in an ISO-9001:2015 certified facility a plus
