Starting at the root is about being proactive rather than reactive. Trying to fix internal problems through external solutions is like trying to revive a dying plant by spray painting the leaves rather than examining the soil. You can dump loads of energy into things that make you feel better for the short term (finding happiness in money, power, success, relationships, material $hit) and the proceed to chase that high for the rest of your life. Or you can work on yourself from the inside out so that when you actually do have the external success you are able to appreciate and hold onto it.

We’ve all heard it before but sometimes the most “cliche” says are the most VITAL to the quality of our lives. Where focus goes, energy flows. What are you focused on? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others and keeping yourself in a state of envy or lack? Focus on what you want more of. Plant different seeds if you want different results.
