We are beyond proud of our client, Alexander, who was recognized tonight by the Mahoning County Board of DD for his incredible act of bravery.

A few weeks ago, while home using remote supports, Alexander received an urgent knock at his door. A neighbor was experiencing a serious medical emergency. Without hesitation, Alexander called 911 and provided assistance until help arrived.

Thanks to his quick thinking and courage, his neighbor received the care she needed. This evening, Alexander was honored as the true hero he is — celebrated by both the news and MCBDD.

I just want to take a moment to recognize and appreciate the incredible team we have. Our three amazing Program Managers — Monica, Kris, and Erica — continue to lead with heart, dedication, and a deep commitment to quality care.

This week, they went above and beyond by nominating four of our outstanding Direct Support Professionals — Jasmyn, Lori, Bell, and Sabrina — for the DSP Grant through Dylan’s House. These nominations speak volumes about the exceptional work they do every single day. Their compassion, reliability, and genuine care for the individuals we support truly set them apart.

DSPs - thank you for being the heart of what we do. Your hard work, patience, and love do not go unnoticed.

To Monica, Kris, and Erica — thank you for always lifting others up, recognizing greatness, and keeping our mission strong. I’m beyond grateful for all of you. 💙

Today was supposed to be Cedar Point day, however the weather did not cooperate, so we called an audible and visited the Cleveland Aquarium and Scene 75, special thanks to J&W Crown Limousines and Coachline for being so accommodating!
