Our all natural sunscreen is a blend of Nature’s best sun-blocking oils, plant extracts, minerals and essential oils, which come together in a gentle and creamy topical that’s among our finest recipes. This non-toxic sunscreen duals as a deep moisturizer and is a capable blocker of UVA and UVB sun rays. Luxurious in how it feels going on the skin, our natural sunscreen goes on silky and soaks in quickly without leaving an oily trace. Many traditional brands focus on chemicals that absorb sunlight, but ours is made with a mineral known as non-nano Zinc Oxide, which reflects harmful sun rays. We carefully chose every ingredient for its SPF value and for its nourishing effectiveness on skin. We start with a heat extraction of Calendula Flowers in Coconut Oil (SPF 4-6), Avocado Oil (SPF 4-15), Sweet Almond Oil (SPF 5), and Wheat Germ Oil (SPF 20), then melt in Beeswax (SPF 2-8) and Shea Butter (SPF 4-6) before finishing with Myrrh (SPF 15-20) and Lavender Essential Oils, Red Raspberry Seed Oil (SPF 25-50), Carrot Seed Oil (SPF 35-40), and 25% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide (SPF 25+).

Woodland Herbal consists of family members who focus on herbal medicine and all natural body care and wellness products. We have four generations of Herbalists in our family, and so by employing at least four-generation old techniques, we can produce potent herbal care products for health of body, mind, and soul. For many of our ingredients, we forage for ourselves, as well as grow a lot of our own herbs, and every herbal product we sell is handmade.

We are a partnership, made up of Brandon and Leah Scott. We are passionate owners who have a hand in every detail of every product, who hope to serve and inspire a healthier community. We have been making herbal products for much of our lives, for family and friends for when they needed it most, which has helped us to refine our recipes while gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to hit the ground running.

Our goal is to have a larger and longer lasting effect on our world than to simply run a shop that has a positive effect on the community. Through our knowledge and understanding of nature and the power of medicinal plants, we wish to educate others about alternative remedies, while at the same time, working toward building a better future for all by striving to curb environmental destruction.
