Our Tummy Tonic Tea is a powerful, yet gentle belly aid which is an ideal natural solution for supporting proper digestion, soothing nausea, belly aches and heartburn. We infused our Tummy Tonic Tea with a heat resistant beneficial bacteria, also known as a probiotic, which can help restore the gut microflora with beneficial bacteria. Depending what we eat, drink and the medicines we take, and the quality of our food, our gut bacteria can become putrid, inspiring an upset belly, indigestion, increased flatulence, changes in stool, and even low mood fluctuations. Probiotics have the ability to help balance some of these issues. We start our Tummy Tonic Tea with nausea fighting Ginger, belly soothing Peppermint and Spearmint, calming Chamomile for dispelling gas, indigestion relieving Lemon Balm, digestion supporting Lemon Peel, and then blend in soothing mucilaginous herbs like Licorice root, Marshmallow root and Slippery Elm. We also add in high quality Ceylon Cinnamon, which is known for decreasing stomach acid and pepsin, reducing gas, raising pH, lowering metabolic heat and cooling down the stomach. We finish by adding 50 billion probiotic organisms to each Sampler tin, 150 billion for the Large tin and 300 billion for the XL tin.‡
Our medicinal loose leaf tea blends are effective for a range of medicinal uses, and they all taste amazing. Even the ones with the least tasty herbs, because we focus on a fulfilling blend that meets our medicinal intentions and expectations, as well as our taste palates. We use only clean and sifted certified organic herbs and a few wildcrafted mushrooms in our recipes.
Lost Skills Gathering is coming in October. We need your help to make this dream come alive…
Get the kids off the screens — and back into real life.
We all feel it: too much scrolling, too much noise, and not enough real-world confidence.
Our children need more than content. They need experiences. They need to use their hands, solve real problems, make things, try things, and discover what sparks them. When kids get exposed to real skills, you start to see who they are becoming — what they love, what they’re good at, and where their path may lead. And once you see that, you can build on it and support their growth in a powerful way.
That’s part of why the Lost Skills Gathering matters so much.
This isn’t just a festival — it’s a living classroom for our community. A place where elders, artisans, and families come together to pass on practical knowledge, preserve traditions, and remind the next generation that they are capable of more than they know.
Lost Skills Gathering📍 Clary Gardens Botanical Sanctuary, Coshocton, Ohio📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026🕘 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
We’re building something meaningful here — and we need community hands to help bring it to life. We are currently looking for:
* Teachers
* Sponsors
* Volunteers
We are also now accepting donations to help make this festival come alive and keep these skills moving forward into the next generation.

Nutritive Tonic Tea is a powerful blend of our favorite nutritional herbs, known to provide you with “the good stuff,” such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, amino acids, antioxidants, and other daily essentials that our body’s need. These nutritive plants provide the body with sources of easily absorbable nutrients to aid states of depletion, weakness, deficiency, and when feeling overworked and stressed to the max. The roots of most nutritive herbs run deep into the soil searching out minerals, which make them strong and nutrient rich, and in turn the way they enhance the body to be stronger and more energetic is astounding. This organic tea blend, like our Daily 8 Tea, is ideal when introduced into the diet as part of a daily regimen. Whether you’re feeling burnt out or depleted from too many harsh prescriptions, suffering from long-term illness, or wish to improve the quality of your golden years, this tea blend will nourish the system and become a staple in your life. Our Nutritive Tonic Tea is the beginning of an upcoming Tonic Tea Series, where we focus on the medicinal needs of the entire body.
We start our Nutritive Tonic Tea with nutrient rich powerhouse herbs like Nettle, soothing Oatstraw, mucilage rich Marshmallow root, and bright Calendula flower, adaptogens Indian Ginseng and Holy Basil, energy boosting and stamina herbs like Schisandra and Peppermint, immunity star Elderflower, antioxidant rich Honeysuckle flower, and finish with the extremely powerful medicinal mushroom Cordyceps. The end result is a wonderfully nourishing and delicious tea blend that we’ve added to our daily diets with incredible effect.

Over the years, our family has grown to be known for our iconic and unique tea blends, where we infuse generations of plant medicine knowledge and tons of creativity into our formulas. To celebrate this amazing accomplishment, we turned to Minnesota’s famous Deneen Pottery to make custom tea mugs for all our beloved tea lovers out there. The Deneen family handmade four unique nature designs, which are now available in a very limited capacity, with only 24 mugs available per color. Thank you all for your support, for it is your patronage that has blessed us with the ability to practice our passion while also doing work for the greater good. Herbalism is more than simply using the medicinal properties of the beloved plants in our world, it’s more about creating synergetic and clean medicine infused with positive and healing intentions. We don’t do this to make a profit, we make these medicines to heal and support a happy and healthy life for all who entrust us with their discomforts.
Each mug is unique, handmade and food safe, with each holding 16 ounces of liquid. Deneen Pottery’s mugs are lead-free and heavy-metal free, and you can use them in a dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer (though, they do not recommend going suddenly from one extreme to another). They measure around 4.5” tall and 3.75” wide, with a total width of 5.5” to the handle. Each color is limited to a total of 24, so don’t miss out on these beautiful unique pottery keepsakes.

This extraordinary beauty balm is made with a blend of exotic and rare oil extracts like Moroccan Blue Tansy, German Blue Chamomile and Neroli Orange Blossom. Our Botanical Beauty Balm is the same great recipe as our Blue Beauty Cream, but with a new name, and it no longer contains mica so it’s naturally colored. Within our recipe, we focused on creating the perfect skin loving product that can have the most powerful effect on the skin, which is why we infused so much goodness into one beauty care topical, like that of Mango butter, which is a deep moisturizer that assists in reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dry skin, and helps to increase skin’s overall youthful look. This formula works quick in drying acne blemishes, yet leaving the skin youthful and soft.‡
Our Botanical Beauty Balm (formerly Blue Beauty Balm) is effective for moisturizing dry, worn and aged skin, toning wrinkled and loose skin, and can be worn as a nightly mask that doesn’t need to be washed off in the morning. This soothing and tranquil medicinal salve works great as a beauty aid for reducing redness and irritation, puffiness under eyes, and is capable of easing tension, stress, anxiety, and can be used to work into pained limbs and muscles, as well as swelled joints. Rub a little into the face overnight and notice yourself glowing in the morning.‡
This luxurious beauty balm can be used as a soothing aid for after sun care since it has a relaxing, cooling sensation that eases sun burns, while healing the damaged skin, as it’s infused with Aloe, Carrot Seed and Vitamin E. Additionally, you can wear this balm out in the sun as the Carrot Seed extract is a natural sunscreen (some studies report up to 40 SPF, but this number can vary per batch).‡
Do you garden and end up with a glorious harvest… and then wonder what on earth to do with all of it? If you’ve ever wished you knew how to turn everyday plants into useful food and simple home remedies, this is the perfect place to begin.

NEW Blog Article: “Introducing the Lost Skills Gathering” by Brandon Elijah Scott
A One-Day Revival of Hands, Heart, and Heritage in Coshocton, Ohio
It feels like the modern world has made everything “easier,” and yet somehow we’re more exhausted than ever. We have convenience everywhere, but confidence is rare. We can order dinner with our thumbs, watch a thousand tutorials on how to do something, and still feel strangely helpless when life asks us to actually do the thing. When a button pops off. When the power goes out. When the garden overproduces and we don’t know how to preserve it. When a kid asks, “How do I make this?” and we realize we’ve never been taught.
And I don’t say that as some grumpy old man shaking a fist at technology. I use technology every day. I’m grateful for modern tools. I’m also painfully aware of what we’ve lost in the process, and what it’s doing to our hearts, our families, and our communities.
Because here’s the truth: when a person knows how to make something with their own two hands, it changes them. It makes them steadier. It makes them calmer. It makes them less afraid. It gives them a quiet kind of dignity that no purchase can replicate. You can feel it in people who grew up learning from grandparents, farmers, makers, and old-school doers. You can see it in the way they move through the world. They don’t panic as easily. They improvise. They mend. They figure it out. They know how to live.
That’s the heartbeat behind what I’m about to announce.
On Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, we’re bringing something brand new to Coshocton County, and I believe it’s going to become one of the most meaningful traditions our region has ever hosted.
It’s called the Lost Skills Gathering, and it’s exactly what it sounds like: a one-day, hands-on heritage festival where elders, artisans, makers, growers, teachers, and storytellers share the practical skills that built strong families and resilient communities for generations.
Lost skills aren’t gone. They’re just waiting to be practiced again.

Woodland Herbal consists of family members who focus on herbal medicine and all natural body care and wellness products. We have four generations of Herbalists in our family, and so by employing at least four-generation old techniques, we can produce potent herbal care products for health of body, mind, and soul. For many of our ingredients, we forage for ourselves, as well as grow a lot of our own herbs, and every herbal product we sell is handmade.
We are a partnership, made up of Brandon and Leah Scott. We are passionate owners who have a hand in every detail of every product, who hope to serve and inspire a healthier community. We have been making herbal products for much of our lives, for family and friends for when they needed it most, which has helped us to refine our recipes while gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to hit the ground running.
Our goal is to have a larger and longer lasting effect on our world than to simply run a shop that has a positive effect on the community. Through our knowledge and understanding of nature and the power of medicinal plants, we wish to educate others about alternative remedies, while at the same time, working toward building a better future for all by striving to curb environmental destruction. This is why we plant a local Ohio tree for every product sold. Click here to read more about our future goals and what we’re working to accomplish. With your help, we can grow a better tomorrow. Peace and love.
Brandon is a wanderer and world traveler, an author and artist, a herbalist as well as a photographer, thinker, designer, nature lover, and seeker of truth and wisdom.
Leah is an empathic creative, who loves the natural world and finds no greater joy than in helping others. She has years of experience studying human anatomy, behavior, and sociology.
