Since macros will be different depending on what products you use, I suggest putting all of the ingredients into your tracker then saving it as a recipe to track accurate macros.

Happy Saturday! What’s on your weekend breakfast menu? When I’m not on prep I love to create different healthy recipes on weekends (or any day I manage to have off haha) and experiment in the kitchen.

I always get questions about my health and fitness transformation that include ā€œI don’t know what to eatā€ so I’m going to be sharing more of my healthy twists on recipes.

It’s a shame when I look up oatmeal recipes that everything is loaded with sugar because people won’t eat anything that isn’t, so try this instead!

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Start by cooking the cream of wheat, I just microwave it for a minute at a time then stir, usually about three times.

Next add in the egg whites, I use 125 grams right now, then microwave it for a minute at a time stirring in between. It should be nice and fluffy now!

Finally, mix in cinnamon, Truvia, and salt.

Top with PB, berries and jam!

I like to let it cool for a bit so the peanut butter melts and the fruit gets juicy.

šŸ“šŸ«Some of my favorite easy meals!šŸ‘šŸŽ

I don’t know who came up with the concept that we have to eat different foods and meals every single day for every single meal! The most common thing I hear from people is ā€œI don’t know what to eatā€ and part of that is because marketed weight loss cookie cutter ā€œplansā€ will give you 30 different meals a month that require 15 different ingredients each and I don’t know about you but not only is that financially a bad idea these days with prices but it’s so OVERWHELMING which makes quitting because it’s ā€œtoo hardā€ a simple way to give up.

Keep it simple! I eat the same meals every day, and the key to not being ā€œboredā€ with them is to make meals you love for all of them. I can’t wait to eat my protein oats with warm apples, cinnamon and PB every day!

Here are some tips:

šŸ‘ Have a meal plan you love and look forward to all your meals!

šŸ“Stop using ā€œI get boredā€ as an excuse! If you want to get fit and healthy, you need to take time away from foods that aren’t going to help you achieve your goals. Experiment with different cooking methods and low calorie sauces to change things up.

šŸ¤ Make similar swaps if you’re not looking forward to your food! Chicken swaps similarly macro wise to white fish or shrimp.

šŸš Bulk prep on the weekend so all your major foods are ready to simply weigh according to your plan and eat or take with you!

Rinse and repeat!

New habits statistically take 18-254 days to become habits, to become easier, to become ingrained in you so that they are automatic. Whether it’s weighing your food or getting up early for a walk

The more familiar you get with it the easier it is. When I first started weighing and tracking I messed up many times and over or under ate. Wanted to quit. Thought it was hard. But I’d just think of the end goal and how nothing else had worked in the past. And how I was sad when someone called me a voluptuous woman when I wanted to be seen as an athletic woman. And how I had to at least TRY the hard new thing!
