Benchmark Women’s History Month Spotlight

Quiet strength. Lifelong service. A legacy of compassion.

At Benchmark Senior Living, we are proud to celebrate Forge Hill resident Molly June Foster who dedicated her life to serving underserved populations.

After graduating from London Hospital Nursing School, Molly began her career caring for Indigenous Peoples in Canada, learning the importance of listening first and honoring culture. She later worked with burn victims in Galveston, Texas - an experience that deepened her resilience and empathy.

Her life reflects her favorite quote: “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” A balance of gentleness and strength that defines her care for others.

Shana has been a valued member of our team since 2017, as a Medication Technician. Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the residents in her care. Shana is known for her steady presence, strong work ethic, and the genuine warmth she brings to every shift. She approaches her role with confidence and attentiveness, ensuring that residents feel safe, respected, and supported. Her leadership through example and calm demeanor make her a trusted and respected team member. Outside of work, Shana is truly the glue to her family — the steady foundation that keeps everyone connected, supported, and cared for.
