About me

Matthew Ng, MD is board certified in General Surgery and board eligible for Colon and Re**al Surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques along with robotic surgery for malignant and benign diseases including inflammatory bowel disease. He also practices transa**l minimally invasive surgery for re**al pathologies. Dr. Ng has a deep interest for a**l disorders as well, including a**l dysplasia, hemorrhoids, fistula and fissure.

Dr. Ng has written articles on a variety of topics including trauma, quality improvement and cardiac arrest. He has presented at the American Society of Colon and Re**al Surgeons (ASCRS) national conference, Southeastern Surgical Conference (SESC) and the Chicago Society of Colon and Re**al Surgeons.

Dr. Ng earned his medical degree at Chicago Medical School and completed general surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He then completed subspeciality fellowship training in Colon and Re**al Surgery at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.

Dr. Ng is a member of the American Society of Colon and Re**al Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American Medical Association. He is licensed in DC and MD.
