Our birthing stories matter and should be at the forefront of the conversation in Maternal and Child Health. In Black maternal health in particular it is CRUCIAL that we are sharing our experiences with providers, hospitals, institutions, OBs, insurance companies and the likes with other birthing persons. Sometimes we keep our stories close, for so many reasons, but by sharing them we can help uplift, guide, protect, and hold space for other birthing persons. That’s what this project is about.

December 1st, 2020 at 06:30 PM ET, we are partnering with the to throw you a Survey and Soul live party, and hold space for you to@fill out a survey about your birthing experience. Come through, wear something you can dance in, get ready to move sumn... and lift up other birthing persons by sharing your experience at the same time. This is absolutely FREE but you must register.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This is where it's at! Creating space for all Black Mamas! Posted • So, for the next few Mamas Meet-Up sessions, were gonna have some conversations about the themes and topics covered in our Black Mamas Guide to Living and Thriving, which we released this spring

Tomorrow, we’re gonna talk PLEASURE. Why it must be part of conversations about Black maternal health. How it sustains the work of mothering. How pleasure is an act of resistance. How the media portrays pleasure and joy and sexuality and happiness for Black women and mamas. Why we must take time for pleasure as an act of care for us AND for our babies. Ready for this conversation? Sis, it’s a must 🖤

To register click the Link In Our Bio. MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND. We know this is a little switch up, so make sure you tap the link in our bio to link up tomorrow. Black mamas need safe space and sisterhood and vining now more than ever 🖤🖤 this is that space
