Facente Consulting is so honored to have been able to work with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, Daigle Digital, and substance use providers around the state of California to create a series of short videos that highlight 10 different models of providing medications for addiction treatment (MAT) to support people with opioid use disorder.

On December 10 The Center at Sierra Health Foundation will be hosting a webinar with us from 12-1 PST, where people interested in learning more about these programs can join and ask questions of some of the amazing folks who've made it happen in their own sites!

Enjoying hearing the brilliant pitches of critical, innovative public health ideas as part of Springboard HealthLab’s first annual Pitch Day. Springboard raised over $100,000 to invest in supporting and incubating fledgling projects into powerhouse ideas that will change the world. This feels more important then ever in these tenuous times!

Facente Consulting had the greatest time last week learning to blow glass with Prax and Katie at the .hand.studio in Alameda - a fun way to hang as a team, learn a new skill, come home with a present (for self or others!), and find out a bit about our colleagues’ artistic personalities! ❤️😜

Facente Consulting was so pleased to be able to help Santa Clara County Public Health plan and host a beautiful event today in Roosevelt Park in San Jose in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day. It was an added treat to be recognized by the Board of Supervisors for our support of such an important community event!

Unexpected places to be: sitting in the front seat of a giant RV that’s been outfitted to provide methadone to people in the San Fernando Valley. has quite the operation and Facente Consulting is lucky to have a chance to support them in telling the stories of their success!

Today and met with Phoebe Olivera and the great team at Contra Costa Fire & EMS’s AMR ambulance crew to learn about their pioneering work offering suboxone to people during transport after they’ve received Narcan to reverse an opioid overdose. It’s always fun to get away from the computer and spend time in the field learning from people doing lifesaving work every day!

It’s fun to be doing work in my own backyard for once—Contra Costa County, CA. We did interviews today with CoCo County’s impressive Choosing Change program, which provides medications for addiction treatment for people with opioid use disorders. The interviews were filmed, and we were lucky enough to have these amazing quilt squares made by program clients as the backdrop! 🎥❤️

Our team at Facente Consulting is working with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation to conduct a landscape analysis of Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) services in California. Our analysis of providers' feedback will help drive policy advocacy and funding priorities for the state in the future.
