Catholic University Counseling Center

Catholic University Counseling Center This page is for informational purposes only. In the event of a mental health emergency, contact Campus Police (202-319-5111) or 911.

Our purpose is to help you make the most of yourself as a developing person—more comfortable and effective in your own life and in your relations with others. This could mean overcoming unwanted feelings and behaviors or enhancing what you are already doing well. We provide confidential services that include individual counseling, group therapy, and psychiatric consultation to full-time Catholic U students. Part-time students are not eligible for individual therapy services but may receive a one-time consultation to facilitate the referral process to an outside provider. Part-time students are also eligible to participate in group therapy. There is no fee for our services, and students may receive up to 45 sessions of individual therapy. The Counseling Center is accredited by IACS, the International Association of Counseling Services. To schedule an appointment, call (202) 319-5765 or come to the Counseling Center, located in 127 O’Boyle Hall.
