I invite you to join me in volunteering with to support DC, MD, & VA moms who will be at their hospitalized child’s bedside on Mother’s Day. You can contribute items for gift bags from our Amazon Wish List this week. Link is in LinkTree w/in bio.

Mold, insecticides, fertilizers, dirt, and chemicals (i.e., what’s found in many regular coffees)? Or, clean, organic, fair trade, and low-acid? How do you want your coffee?

I thought I was doing well buying mostly organic and fair trade coffee; however, I had no idea about the importance of buying coffee that has been tested for all the things in the list above until pretty recently… and then I was disgusted to think about all I had been ingesting through my coffee alone for decades!

I’ve been drinking coffee since high school, and oh, how I love coffee…I’m now delighted to continue my taste testing of brews like the one in the 2nd photo. I also can’t wait to travel back to places that grow and roast their coffee organically and where you drink it on the spot…nothing like it…

How do you take your coffee? How much do you drink it? Does this matter to you for your health?

Today is in the U.S. & it’s on Oct. 1st. We have time over the next couple of days to consider how much this matters to us and whether we can make some changes…

Today invites women to focus on their (whole) health & fitness. When we consider where “we are” with our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and financial health & fitness, we sometimes feel overwhelmed, fearful, ashamed, or drained.

It can feel “too much”.

Thus, imagine today is offering you a gentle invitation to take 1 step forward in 2 or 3 of those areas tomorrow. If you accept the invitation as an investment in yourself, which actions would you take?

Even if they’re small steps forward, what kind of supports and reminders could you put into place to help those actions be sustainable?

—Do you invite a friend to join you in accomplishing a goal?
—Do you organize financial paperwork?
—Do you buy fresh organic vegetables?
—Do you take a walk?
—Do you meditate?
—Do you call a loved one?

What feels doable so at the end of the day tomorrow you feel you really have accomplished something for your health and fitness? Allow for that accomplishment to be a motivator. You can turn that accomplishment into a lever to move you forward in other areas of your whole health and we’ll-being as well!
