Happy Dhanvantari Jayanti and National Ayurveda Day (November 10th, 2023) 🙏🏾

Dhanvantari Bhagavan is an aspect of Maha Vishnu and is worshipped as the Supreme Vaidya (physician).

In his four hands he holds the:

1. Shanka (conch)

2. Sudarshana Chakra (108 pointed disk, also understood as the wheel of time and auspicious vision)

3. Amrithakalasha (pot of immortal nectar)

4. Jalouka (leech) or medicinal herbs in his fourth hand

The symbolism behind these aspects is deep, and can be a great asset to both medical professionals and patients in modern times.

May we all be blessed with Longevity and Great Health 👍🏾

Did you know that Kerala, India is considered one of the most authentic places to experience traditional Ayurveda?

I am headed there for a few months to immerse myself in the ancient arts, and to gain some fresh perspective.

This past year has been filled with big lessons and blessings. I am incredibly grateful for all the support and encouragement we have received from our community, and am looking forward to what this next chapter has in store.

What does this mean for our customers?

Our healing goods will still be available online and at select retailers, and orders will be shipped out once a week until I am back in the states.

3 Ways to Use Turmeric
1. Cook
1. Include in your daily diet to help reduce inflammation and maintain healthy digestive, colon, liver, cardiovascular and circulatory systems.
2. Can be boiled or fried whole, chopped in small pieces, sliced thin, or ground into a powder. Prefer whole turmeric to extracted products.
3. Add some black pepper to turmeric to activate and enhance its properties.
2. Drink
1. Include a small amount in your favorite herbal tea.
2. Make Golden Milk (milk, turmeric, black pepper, ghee, honey).
3. Start with small quantities so you do not overwhelm your tastebuds.
3. Apply
1. Mix with water to make a paste, great for skin inflammation, discoloration, and blemishes.
2. Infuse into a lotion base or body butter to make a homemade salve.
3. Make your own face mask and scrub.
