It’s Black Maternal Health Week — and this is not just “another awareness week.”

Black birthing people are dying at unacceptable rates in the U.S.

And if you’re a doula — especially if you’re not Black — you don’t get to sit this out.

You have to understand how racism, not race, is killing Black birthers.
You have to look at how your training, your referrals, your biases, and your silence may be upholding harm.

And then? You get to be part of the change.

This week, I’ll be sharing actions, stories, tools, and resources for doulas who give a damn.
Because our job isn’t just birth support — it’s birth justice.
