Meet our June AT Standards Chair John Kamb, PE. John is a U.S. Forest Service Ropeway Engineer and chair of the ANSI-RESNA ASE Committee. He has led national efforts to improve accessibility on aerial chair lifts and brings decades of engineering experience across public service, standards development, and infrastructure projects. RESNA is now accepting proposals for workshops, sessions, and scientific papers for the 2026 conferences in Long Beach and Greater New York. You can submit to one or both locations.

Deadlines:
• Long Beach: August 1, 2025
• Greater New York: October 3, 2025

Topics include AI in AT, AAC, smart home tech, cognitive and sensory tech, low-tech solutions, research translation, and more.

This 4-week, online course features real-world learning activities, group discussions, quizzes, and access to a practice ATP exam with diagnostic scoring. All sessions are recorded and available for unlimited viewing for 60 days after the course ends.

Please note: This is not an ATP exam prep course and is not required to take the ATP exam, but it’s a great way to refresh your knowledge and identify areas for further study.
