Today we honor the life and legacy of GCH ARMATA'S CODE OF HONOR ATT FDC CGC THD CS โ€œCoHoโ€
2017โ€“2026 ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿพ

CoHo was more than an accomplished Rottweiler โ€” she was a loyal partner, devoted working canine, and beloved companion. Alongside her owner and handler, Renice, CoHo dedicated her life to serving and supporting the military community with unwavering heart and purpose.

Her titles and achievements reflected her intelligence, discipline, and extraordinary temperament, but those who knew her best will remember her steady presence, dedication, and the love she gave so freely.

We are deeply grateful for CoHoโ€™s service, the lives she touched, and the bond she shared with Renice. Her legacy will continue to inspire all of us at Crisis Response Canines.

Please keep Renice and all who loved CoHo in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Run free, CoHo. Your watch is complete. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Today, we hold one of our longest and most cherished CRC supporters, Jeanne, close in our hearts as she mourns the loss of her beloved mother, Marylou.

Marylouโ€™s life touched so many, and we know the love between mother and daughter was truly special. During this difficult time, we ask our CRC family and community to keep Jeanne and her entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

May they find comfort in the memories they shared, strength in the love surrounding them, and peace in the days ahead. โค๏ธ

Andrea & K9 Lincoln, John & K9 Axel, and David & K9 Daisy had the honor of presenting to the New Jersey Association of School Administrators on the topic of Canines in Your School Community. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซ

Our presentation focused on the intentional and purposeful integration of trained canine partners within schools โ€” emphasizing that successful canine programs are built on structure, training, relationship-building, and evidence-based interventions. These partnerships are far more than simply bringing a dog into a building; they are carefully designed supports that enhance school climate, emotional wellness, crisis response, and student connection.

David brought a unique and valuable perspective through his firsthand experience as a superintendent, sharing how he has successfully utilized trained K9 Daisy within his school community to support students, staff, and overall school culture.

Andrea and John shared their years of experience in Animal Assisted Interventions and Crisis Response, highlighting the importance of training, handler competency, and purposeful implementation to maximize positive outcomes for students and communities.

And yesโ€ฆ while we presented, those perfectly trained canine partners rested calmly on stage beside us โ€” a powerful demonstration of the training, discipline, and professionalism these dogs bring into educational environments every day. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’™

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with educational leaders across New Jersey and continue important conversations about how trained canine teams can support safer, healthier, and more connected school communities.

For Nurses Week, Mike and K9 Smoke made a special wellness visit to the ER in Maryland โ€” arriving just before the busy 7:00 AM shift change. ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

In the middle of the morning chaos, Smoke brought a moment of calm, comfort, and smiles to the hardworking ER staff. It was a welcomed send-off for the overnight nurses finishing long shifts and a peaceful, uplifting start for the incoming day shift team.

Sometimes even a few quiet moments with a trained canine can make all the difference. Thank you to all the incredible nurses and healthcare professionals who show up every day with compassion, strength, and dedication. We are grateful for all that you do! โœจ

Debby and K9 Ducky were honored to stand alongside riders, families, departments, and volunteers as they began their bicycle ride to Washington, DC in memory of law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

The event was filled with remembrance, unity, and support for those who continue to carry the weight of service and loss. A touching wreath laying ceremony at the Southern Precinct served as a powerful tribute to the heroes we will never forget.

We are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful day honoring courage, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of the law enforcement community. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Hospital Week was extra special at LCMC thanks to a meaningful Wellness Wednesday! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

Every day, LCMC staff gives so much of themselves while caring for patients and their families. This week was a reminder that caregivers need care too.

As part of Wellness Wednesday, staff participated in mindful mobility sessions focused on self-care, wellness, and resilience. Kim and K9 Lavy were honored to spend the day throughout the hospital sharing comfort, smiles, and plenty of unconditional love with the incredible healthcare teams in Louisiana.

Sometimes the best medicine is a wagging tail and a moment to pause. Thank you to all healthcare workers for the compassion and dedication you bring every single day! ๐Ÿ’™

Wendy and K9 Brody and CRC Board Chair Mary were honored to support the recent ARTiCISM event โ€” where art meets resilience in EMS. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿพ

ARTiCISM creates a powerful space to talk honestly about the realities of the job and then transition into a guided, hands-on painting experience designed to help process those experiences in a healthy and creative way.

It was truly a great event filled with connection, support, and healing. Weโ€™re grateful to have been part of it and highly recommend checking out ARTiCISM and the incredible work they are doing for first responders and EMS professionals. ๐Ÿ’™
