💡 Share your thoughts on how age-friendly it is living in DC -

The DC.gov's Age-Friendly DC Livability Survey is an ongoing effort to assess how well the city is meeting the needs of older adults.

The survey, based on tools from the World Health Organization and AARP, gathers information to support aging well, and inclusively, in the community.

While the survey is primarily aimed at DC residents aged 60+, all are welcome to participate. The survey is available online in English and Spanish.

🌟 It's official! Congratulations to our CEO Crystal Carr Townsend on being sworn in as a Commissioner for the Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC) by Clerk of the Court Karen Bushell.

Appointed by Maryland Governor Wes Moore and confirmed by the Maryland Senate, Crystal will serve for a four year term on the independent commission that operates within the Maryland Department of Health (MDH).

The CHRC was created by the Maryland General Assembly in 2005 to expand access to health care services in underserved communities in Maryland. Since its inception, the CHRC has awarded 866 grants totaling $291.7 million, supporting programs in every jurisdiction of the state.

We wish the best for the 11 commissioners and look forward to the new and expanded programs to help all Marylanders receive the care they need.
