Phoenix Dawn Enterprises (PDE) functions as an umbrella for several different ventures. As an event production company we aim to create events that provide space for local young artists and musicians to make a name for themselves and make a living doing what they love best. At events, we create an atmosphere that conforms to the mantra of “PLURR:” Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility. PDE will also encompass vending of original art by independent artists, such as hand-made hula hoops and jewelry. In the long run, we aim to establish PDE as an entity that provides holistic healing services as an alternative to the mainstream healthcare system. These services will include massage and reiki therapy, humanistic talk therapy, yoga, acupuncture, and spa services. PDE addresses issues of healthcare, independent artistry, and counterculture development. We are going to enact social change by strengthening the numbers of the alternative lifestyle community, rather than trying to change the flawed "system” by working within it. We believe that our efforts better serve the greater good when we direct them towards strengthening the counterculture that is in place by adding our own voice.
