The 200-foot-tall clock tower of Healy Hall is shown here during a 1983 restoration. The tower contains three cast-iron bells installed in 1888. The largest bell is named for the Virgin Mary, Seat of Wisdom. The other two bells are named for patron saints of youth, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, SJ, and St. John Berchmans, SJ. The bells toll on the quarter hour and hourly, and play the “Angelus” at noon and 6:00 p.m. (Image courtesy of the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections)
